Amazon teases that starting on June 21, customers will be able to score discounts on Amazon products and external brands such as Dove, De’Longhi, and SodaStream. However, the 48 hours of Prime Day is when the biggest sales take place, and that event is set to kick off on July 12 at 3 a.m. EDT. It will run through July 13, at which point the discounts will end and likely won’t come back in this capacity until Black Friday. What deals can you expect to catch between June 21 and July 13 on Amazon Prime?
Early shoppers who hunt for deals on June 21 will see savings of up to 55% on some of Amazon’s devices. This includes the Echo Show 5, Kindle Paperwhite, Halo Band, Fire 7 Tablet, Echo Dot, various home security appliances, Wi-Fi routers, and more. The 43-inch Fire TV will be priced at $199.99, while the enormous Toshiba 75-inch will see a drop of 50%, now priced at $699.99. Amazon also promises other benefits, such as discounts on essentials through Amazon Fresh for Prime members in the United States. This starts on June 29 and will become an all-year-round benefit if you use the credit card registered to your Prime account or scan your Amazon app at the register.
Amazon Prime Day itself will bring in the biggest discounts for a large variety of brands, such as Beats, Sony, Bose, iRobot, SharkNinja, ELEMIS, Casper, Levi’s, and Amazon Essentials. If you want to be extra sure you won’t miss it, you can ask your Alexa: “Remind me when Prime Day starts.”
